The Foreperson is responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and supervising the work of all site operatives. They also ensure that all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget along with managing equipment and materials required.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinating construction work according to priorities and plans
- Able to read blue prints
- Producing schedules and monitor attendance of crew
- Allocating daily responsibilities
- Supervise and train workers while also providing motivation
- Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
- Guarantee all quality standards are met
- Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
- Resolve problems when they arise
- Reporting on progress to managers, engineers etc.
- Ensure all OSHA, EPA and SCP safety guidelines and regulations are met or exceeded with the goal of zero incidents
- Actively engage with workforce to reinforce safe behaviors
Education & Experience:
- 3-5 years’ experience in prestressed/precast concrete products
- 2 plus years of supervisory experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- Knowledge of welding, repairs and maintenance of mobile and processing equipment
