Class Visit to UMass Parking

UMass Parking garage visit – students visited a precast/prestressed  parking garage on campus at the University of Massachusetts Amherst to better understand the major components of a precast parking garage. The drawings for this parking garage were presented earlier that day in class. Students were able to understand how practices and precast concrete sections have changed over the years because the garage was designed and constructed in the 1970s.
