Membership Types

PCI has several membership levels from which to choose. Select the type of membership that best suits you from the list below, or contact Brian Miller, Managing Director, Business Development, Email Brian Miller for assistance.
Producer Member: A firm or a division of a firm with a U.S. manufacturing facility regularly engaged in the production of plant-produced Precast and prestressed concrete.

Foreign Producer Member: A firm or a division of a firm with a manufacturing facility outside of the U.S. regularly engaged in the production of plant-produced precast and prestressed concrete.

Services Associate Member Any firm that is engaged in supplying consulting or other professional services to the industry and that is not eligible for Producer Membership.

Supplier Associate Member: Any firm that is engaged in supplying goods or services that are used by the Industry in the development or production of Industry Products and that is not eligible for Producer Membership.

Professional Member: Any person who is a registered architect or engineer, or and person who is deemed by the board of directors to have abilities or credentials equal to or above the registration qualifications.

Associate Professional Member: Any person who has a Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or technology and has not yet attained sufficient professional experience to qualify for professional membership or licensure.

Affiliate Member: Any person who has an interest in the plant-produced precast and prestressed concrete industry and does not conform to the requirements for other classes of membership.

Student Member: Any person who is enrolled in any recognized institution of higher learning.

Erector Associate Member: Any firm that is engaged in supplying goods or services that are used in the construction of structures incorporation Industry Products and that is not eligible for Producer Members.

Lifetime and Honorary Membership: may be conferred upon individual members of the institute at such times and under such terms as determined by the board of directors. Lifetime membership shall accompany the PCI Medal of Honor Award.

Life Member: Any individual members for whom the sum of chronological age and total years of PCI membership equals or exceeds 90, who has applied for lifetime membership status, and upon whom such status has been conferred by the Board of Directors. Lifetime members shall retain all of the benefits of the membership category to which they last belonged, but shall pay no membership dues.

Allied Organization Member: City, state, regional or any other organization in the plant-produced precast and prestressed concrete industry having and maintaining purposes and objectives similar to those of this institute may become Allied Organization members upon meeting and maintaining such standard as set forth in the PCI Policies and Procedures Manual. Producer, Associate or Professional Members of such organizations who are not Members of the Institute shall not be extended the privileges of Membership in the Institute.

Other categories of Membership may be established by the Board of Directors.
