Internship Opportunities for Summer 2023 

PCI Northeast covers the following states Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and New York.

PCI Northeast encourages college/university students and young professionals in their pursuit of valuable work experience by supporting our producer members and their internship programs. Internships provide students and young professionals with a minimum of 10 weeks of practical work experience that will prepare them for a career in the precast, prestressed concrete industry. In addition to learning new workforce skills, Internships provide students and young professionals an opportunity to network and build professional connections. Offers to return for another internship or full-time employment may result from successfully completing an internship.

Details
New Hire Information and Schedule:

• All Interns will be paid for their work
• Start date determined once hired
• Internships run 10-12 weeks
• Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (varies by location)

Position Requirements

• Enrolled in an accredited Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management School, or Trade School (Trade 2 year or 4 year)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software 
• Ability to read and understand complex prints and project specification

Internship Goals - the student will learn:

• How to work as an individual and as part of a team in a professional work environment
• Learn about precast concrete products and systems
• Understand of they are manufactured, shipped, and constructed in a project

Internship Outcomes 

• Practical experience from their achievements
• Interaction with team members 
• Willingness to ask questions and receive constructive feedback
• Understand and embody a professional work ethic
